The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a revised NEET 2023 Syllabus PDF. In comparison to the NEET 2023 Syllabus, major changes and cuts are introduced in the Chemistry Syllabus. The National Medical Commission (NMC) and Under Graduate Medical Education Board have revised the NTA NEET Syllabus. All those candidates who are going to appear for the medical entrance exam this year can download the NEET Syllabus 2024 PDF from the official website -nta.ac.in. NEET Syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. The questions are asked from the Class 11th and 12th Syllabus. As per the previous year’s trends, a maximum number of questions are asked from the Biology subject which is further divided into Zoology and Botany.

NEET Syllabus Reduced

As per the NEET Syllabus PDF, this year’s Experimental Skills unit is added to the Physics subject. This unit will assess familiarity with the basic approach and observations of the experiments and activities. In chemistry, 10 units are reduced as the NEET 2023 Syllabus includes 30 units and this year’s PDF includes 20 units. The stakeholders can refer to the updated syllabus for the NEET UG 2024 for the preparation of the study material and for preparation of the NEET UG examination for the academic session 2024-25.

NEET 2024 Exam Date

NEET UG 2024 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2024. NTA announced the NEET exam date via the exam calendar. The NEET application process is expected to begin in December or January. Candidates are advised to keep checking the NTA NEET Website – neet.nta.nic.in for updates on the exam.

NEET UG 2024: Subject-Wise Marks Distribution

NEET UG 2024 question paper will include 200 questions for 720 marks. The questions will be asked in the MCQ format. Physics and Chemistry subjects will have 45 questions each and Biology (Botany + Zoology) will have 90 questions.
